Welcome To Yealand Church of England Primary School

We are a small, vibrant and nurturing Church of England Primary School located in the rural village of Yealand Redmayne, near Carnforth, Lancashire.
Rated 'good with many examples of outstanding practice' by Ofsted, we currently have 29 pupils and the school is part of a collaboration with Arkholme Church of England Primary School.
We run a breakfast club from 8.00am every day and offer afterschool clubs four days a week.

Christmas Holidays

We break up after school on Thursday 18th December for the Christmas Holidays. School re-opens on Tuesday 6th January 2015. We hope you have a lovely Christmas and best wishes for the New Year.

Primary School Admissions September 2015


If your child is due to start school in September 2015 please apply online at, the deadline for applications is Thursday 15th January 2015.  

Starting in November we run  two pre-school sessions for children who are due to start in our reception class in September 2015, Tuesday and Thursdays 1.30 - 3.15pm.  If you are interested in your child attending these sessions or would like to come and look around the school please contact the school office.
